With the Muslim holiest month of Ramadhan just in, top reciters and memorizers of the holy Quran recited verses of holy Quran in Imam Khomeini religious site with Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei in attendance.
Referring to the Quran's teachings which invited Muslims to unity and attachment to the rope of God, the Islamic Revolution Leader said those who have deeply understood the Quranic call for unity and sticking to the divine string do not allow the cause of national unity fall victim to their individual objectives or interests.
The IR Leader said based on the Quranic teachings Muslims are advised to strongly stand up to the enemies while showing leniency toward fellow Muslims.
Ayatollah Khamenei described Quran verses as life-giving such as water adding Quran's effects are gradual and we always need Quran.
Getting familiar with Quran we would be able to open new doors and knots, the IR Leader added.
