IR Leader receives cinema directors
Tehran, June 14 - A group of Iranian cinema directors Tuesday evening held a cordial meeting with the Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei and talked about different cinematic, arts, cultural and social issues.
Saudi FM meets with Ayatollah Khamenei
Tehran, June 12 - Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister met Monday with the Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei to submit to him the message of King Abdullah.
Saud Al-Faisal conveyed greetings of the Saudi King to the IR Leader and thanked him on behalf of the King for his message months ago which was submitted to King Abdullah by Dr. Ali-Akbar Velayati.

Tehran, May 16 - Islamic Revolution Leader Tuesday highlighted role of media in forming culture and thought of nations and their identity as well as promotion of ethics and spirituality in society.
"If ethics and virtue govern media management and programming, the conditions of human being will indeed improve and under such conditions media could help make people happy," Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei told media directors and program makers of different countries who are currently in Tehran to attend an international festival of radio programs.

Int'l Qods conference kicks off
Tehran, April 14 - An International conference on the holy Qods and support for the Palestinians kicked off in Tehran minutes ago at the presence of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinej ad.
The event brings together delegates from fifty countries, including 24 Parliament Speakers.
Featuring prominently at the three-day conference are topics such as racial discrimination practiced by the Zionist regime of Israel against Palestinians, the need to support the new Palestinian government, the return home of all Palestinian refugees and formation of an independent Palestinian state with Beit-ul-moqaddas as its capital.
