He praised the remarkable resilience and resistance of the oppressed people of Gaza and said, "Today, the highest flag of Islam is in the hands of the Palestinian nation and the people of Gaza. Thanks to this resistance, the conditions for the further spread of Islam have been established."
In a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia and his delegation this morning (Tuesday), Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran's definitive and consistent policy is to expand relations with its neighbours, especially Armenia. He emphasised, "We are firmly committed to developing relations with Armenia, and cooperation between the two countries will continue strongly based on defined interests, without considering the policies of others."
This morning (Tuesday), Ayatollah Khamenei met with President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan and his accompanying delegation. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the Islamic Republic of Iran's primary policy and priority was to expand relations with regional countries, especially those with a shared language, culture, history, and religion. He emphasised that the Islamic Republic of Iran was always ready for sincere cooperation with Tajikistan in various fields.
This morning, in a ceremony attended by national and military officials, representatives from various sectors and professions, the families of martyrs, and resident ambassadors, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, endorsed the Iranian people's vote for Dr Masoud Pezeshkian and appointed him as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on Article 110, Clause 9 of the Constitution.
In a meeting this morning with the President and Parliamentary representatives, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution outlined eight important points: The necessity for parliamentary accountability, Constructive interaction between Parliament and the new government, A unified voice from the country's institutions on important issues, The dominance of ethics in parliamentary debates and other activities of representatives, The do's and don'ts of legislation, Supervision without excessiveness or deficiency, Effective activity of the Supervisory Board on the performance of representatives and Serious engagement of Parliament in global issues and foreign policy.
In his message to the Fifty-Eighth Session of the Union of Islamic Student Associations in Europe, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasised the role and impact of these students on major global matters and that they rely on motivation, faith, and self-confidence in addressing current complex international issues.

Ayatollah Imam Khamenei said that the turnout in the first round of elections was lower than expected and contrary to predictions. He stated, "This issue has reasons that political experts and sociologists are investigating. Some people think that anyone who didn't vote in the first round is against the system, but this is completely wrong."

He said, "50 years ago, the esteemed Imam made a prediction about Palestine that is gradually becoming true. By nullifying the enemies' extensive plans for domination over the region and the Islamic world, the miraculous Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has put the Zionist regime on the path to dissolution. Under the impressive and faith-based resistance of the people of Gaza, the occupying regime is visibly dissolving away right before the eyes of the world."
In a meeting today (Thursday) with Mr. Bashar al-Assad, the President of Syria, and his accompanying delegation, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated that resistance is Syria's distinguished identity. He added that Syria's special position in the region is also due to this, and this important characteristic must be preserved.
