THE LEADER THANKS IRAQ'S HOSTS, PEOPLE, AND GOVERNMENT FOR ARBAEEN HOSPITALITY
Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, sent a message expressing his gratitude to the tremendous Iraqi nation for their hospitality in hosting the pilgrims for Arbaeen. Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, presented the Arabic text of this message to the Iraqi Prime Minister this morning, September 21, 2024, during his visit to Iraq.
Islamic Revolution Leader Meets with Turkmenistan's National Leader and Delegation:
In a meeting with Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of Turkmenistan and his accompanying delegation this Wednesday afternoon, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution cited the high priority of expanding relations between the two countries. He said, "Relations between Iran and Turkmenistan have significantly improved in recent years, but there are still many untapped potentials for further cooperation that should be utilised." He mentioned that expanding relations based on mutual interest benefits both countries and added, "We hope that with the fresh energy of Dr Pezishkiyan’s government, the efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries will continue with greater intensity and strength."
Leader stressed at the National Congress of Martyrs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad
In a meeting with the organisers of the National Congress of Martyrs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province at noon 14th of August 2024, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution commented on the tactics the enemy uses in psychological warfare to try to instil fear into the Iranian people and force them into a state of retreat on various fronts.
Funeral Prayers Held at the University of Tehran
This morning, on Thursday, 1st August 2024, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, led the funeral prayers over the bodies of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, and Martyr Wasim Abu Sha'ban, Mr Haniyeh's companion, at the University of Tehran.
Leader's Condolence on Martyrdom of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh
Following the martyrdom of the great fighter and Mujahid Mr Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, conveyed a message of condolence to the Islamic community, the Resistance Front, and the proud people of Palestine on the martyrdom of this brave leader and distinguished fighter. He said, "The criminal and terrorist Zionist regime has paved the way for a severe punishment upon itself with this action, and we consider it our duty to seek revenge for him having been martyred within the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Ansarullah Yemen Spokesperson meets with the Leader
This evening, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, had a brief meeting with Mr. Muhammad Abdussalam, the spokesperson of Ansar Allah of Yemen. During the meeting, he conveyed his greetings to Mr Abdul-Malik Badreddin, the leader of Ansar Allah, and expressed gratitude for the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and their support for the oppressed people of Gaza.
The Leader meets with the Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon
This evening, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Na'im Qassem, the Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Lebanon. He described Hezbollah's policy from the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation as entirely prudent and wise and aligned with its interests. This evening, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Mr Muhammad Shiya al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, and his delegation. This morning (Tuesday), Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Mr Ismail Haniyeh, the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, and Ziad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of Palestinian Islamic Jihad. He praised the remarkable resilience and resistance of the oppressed people of Gaza and said, "Today, the highest flag of Islam is in the hands of the Palestinian nation and the people of Gaza. In a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia and his delegation this morning (Tuesday), Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran's definitive and consistent policy is to expand relations with its neighbours, especially Armenia. He emphasised, "We are firmly committed to developing relations with Armenia, and cooperation between the two countries will continue strongly based on defined interests, without considering the policies of others."

This morning (Tuesday), Ayatollah Khamenei met with President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan and his accompanying delegation. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the Islamic Republic of Iran's primary policy and priority was to expand relations with regional countries, especially those with a shared language, culture, history, and religion. He emphasised that the Islamic Republic of Iran was always ready for sincere cooperation with Tajikistan in various fields.
Leader Endorses Dr Masoud Pezeshkian in Official Decree
This morning, in a ceremony attended by national and military officials, representatives from various sectors and professions, the families of martyrs, and resident ambassadors, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, endorsed the Iranian people's vote for Dr Masoud Pezeshkian and appointed him as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on Article 110, Clause 9 of the Constitution.
