He said, "indeed, the elections are a vital opportunity for Iran and an irreplaceable factor in strengthening the foundations of the system". The Leader also criticized the efforts made to discourage the people towards the elections and emphasized this by saying, "candidates should stay away from making false and unsubstantiated promises to people and present their actual plans to the public".
