Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Saturday morning with Serifo Nhamadjo the President of Guinea Bissau. At the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Non-Aligned Movement has very good capacities for various kinds of cooperation among the member states, adding: "If the member states of this movement establish wide-ranging relations within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement, the efforts of the domineering powers to impose pressures and sanctions on independent countries will be rendered ineffective."
His Eminence stressed that establishing powerful administrative mechanisms is a requirement for wide-ranging relations within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement, further adding: "The domineering powers are trying to promote the idea that any kind of resistance against them is impossible, but the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement can prove the opposite."
During the meeting, President Serifo Nhamadjo said that his country wants to expand its relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in different areas.
