The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with Robert Gabriel Mugabe, the President of Zimbabwe, reiterated that the real power of the Islamic Republic is the national will of the nation coupled with scientific and social advancements, not nuclear weapon.

According to IRIB, in the meeting which was held Thursday afternoon on the sidelines of the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), the Leader said today there is an opportunity for close and collective cooperation among the NAM member states toward the real, practical steps. 

Mugabe, for his part, said that Iran, as the president of NAM, has now turned into a source of hope for all justice-seeking, freedom-lover, and independence-seeking countries. 

He praised historical speech by the Leader at the NAM Summit and said Zimbabwe was consent to see a country with great record of anti-arrogance struggles has now assumed NAM presidency.
