Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei reaffirmed Tuesday that current wave of Islamic Awakening in the region is motivated by the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.
“This Islamic Awakening is motivated by the massive movement of the Iranian nation since the Islamic Revolution was a change that rocked the foundations of atheist regimes and world's hegemonic system,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with a number of Iranian poets on Monday on the eve of the birth anniversary of the second Shii Imam, Hadhrat Imam Hasan (A.S.)
“The change turned the Iranian nation into an exemplary model for other nations,” the IR Leader added.
The IR Leader urged the Iranian poets to grasp the situation and hold fast to the mottos of the Islamic Revolution.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the contemporary Iranian poetry was the primary vehicle for conveying and presenting the discourse and values of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
