On the eve of Shaaban 3, the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Hossein (P.B.U.H.) and the day of the revolutionary guard, the Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with thousands of the commanders and members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Wednesday morning regarded the IRGC's spiritual structure as the main factor of the flexibility and the laudable conduct of this popular and revolutionary institution in different arenas and the different conditions of the past three decades.
Explaining the important local and international realities, IR Leader stressed: "All of the country's officials should carry out their heavy duties in different fields and like the past 31 years, they should be ready to face any condition, and of course and without any doubt, Iran's great nation and the Islamic Republic like before will be victorious in this field of continuous confrontation."
Elaborating on the IRGC's spiritual and internal structure, he said: "The eager hearts for the struggle in the way of Allah in every arena and field, the honest tongues and the right-seeing and right-detecting looks consist the three main elements of the IRGC's structure and real identity; and this right-seeing look in any condition even in dusty and ambiguous conditions detects the realities of the scene and understands the duty and the way of carrying out the duty."
The Commander-in-Chief of armed forces regarded conserving the identity and the main structure and acting according to the needs of the time as the IRGC's prominent characteristic, saying: "The IRGC in the first years of the Revolution, in confronting the anti-Revolutionaries in Tehran streets, in the issues of border provinces, 8 years of Sacred Defense and other different arenas conserved its identity, but with its necessary flexibility adjusted its shape according to the need of the time so that it can carry out its duties."
Referring to the officials' request of the post-war government for IRGC's entering into the construction field, he added: "In this field too, wherever the IRGC were present, they made the best construction moves; and these realities show that this popular institution in the light of loyalty to its spiritual structure enjoys a flexible organization that has developed and evolved day after day according to the needs of the time.
IR Leader regarded creating different institutions including the IRGC and the Construction Jihad and the great art of the Revolution, adding: "These institutions have a compatible structure along with a strong value dimension; and while having order and being law-abiding, they are far from the problems of conventional organizations including organizational inflexibility."
Stressing the necessity of conserving the IRGC's institutional identity, the Commander-in-Chief of armed forces regarded this institution as a goodly tree that according to the Holy Quran gives a special fruit in every period; and this conduct and laudable characteristic should be continued.
He then explained today's realities of the country and the global scene.
The first undeniable reality that the IR Leader referred to was the stability of the Revolution.
In order to understand these realities in a better way, Ayatollah Khamenei made a comparison between the Islamic Revolution and the French revolution.
Referring to the numerous and completely different and antithetical periods of the French revolution in the first decades of formation and victory, he added: "On the contrary to other socio-political movements in contemporary centuries, the Islamic Revolution after 31 years of ups and downs still moves in the path that Islam has depicted and the great late Imam (Khomeini) has laid the rail for it; and this very important reality shows God's hand of support for this Revolution."
Referring to the remarks of American officials about the effort to change Iran's behavior, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "The real meaning and concept of these remarks is the effort to change the path of the Islamic Revolution's movement."
IR Leader regarded the faithful hearts of the Iranian nation as the presentation of the divine might, stressing: "What has made the movement of the Revolution in the same main path possible is the love of Iranian nation for Islam which has created a great and impenetrable levee for the Islamic Revolution and the country; and if the path changes and Islam is lost, this levee will not exist anymore and the bullies and aggressors will enter the country."
Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the country's progress as the second internal reality of the country adding, "According to global statistics, accelerating scientific progress and growth of the country is several times more than the global average. There is still a long way to reach the convoy of science but the proud acceleration should not be forgotten."
Ayatollah Khamenei said the political maturity and experienced people are other realities of the country adding," Following successive accidents, people, young people and even teenagers have earned good political experience. Fortunately, things are largely well understood by them so that even if the issue of doubt able to attract their opinion, understanding of reality, quickly, change their direction. The issue was completely clear after the riots of last year.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution termed true meaning of export of Revolution as export of Islamic revolution's ideas and pointed eagerly welcome of people from different countries of the Islamic Republic's officials, adding: "Islam and the Islamic Revolution have penetrated into hearts of nations and this is an undeniable reality."
Ayatollah Khamenei said continuation of hostile activities against the Islamic Revolution is another peripheral reality of the Islamic Revolution.
Referring to non-stop and failed efforts by Israel and America to counter Iranian great Muslim nation, Islamic Revolution Leader said
Islamic revolution released the great Iran with its strategic position and interests from the vast grasp of the Americans so that they plotted and showed their enmity against the Iranian nation during all the past years.
"Some (countries) pay extortion money to this world bully to keep their businesses safe. Some others are relatively powerful, but are reluctant to confront the US and simply turn into political-military stooges for Washington. However, some stand up to this bullying, and the Islamic Republic (of Iran) has been at the forefront of this resistance", the IR Leader added.
Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to the increasing hatred of America around the world adding," Opposition to US government' is growing adding that US and Israel unable to overthrow the government of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and it is an undeniable sign of the weakness of the country.
Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to sanctions resolution against Iran and said, "They speak in such a way that we think there is dangerous issues behind these threats but if there is a threat or not we are well prepared to for any situation."
Ayatollah Khamenei termed continuous attention to realities of the country's internal and external as well as feedback and reflection of the enemy as the duty of all cultural, political, social and economic officials of the country adding," Certainly, without doubt, the Iranian nation, the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic, as in the past have succeeded will reach the ultimate victory in this confrontation because God explicitly has promised it to the pious.
"The massive propaganda campaign against the IRGC proved that the organization is now on its right track," Ayatollah Khamenei added.
