Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei Tuesday urged the authorities to prioritize the country's affairs, adding that the officials must focus on the main goals of the system, including serving the people.
Speaking to a group of scientific and political personalities, Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to massive western efforts to drive religion out of public life and said the efforts have shattered familial structure in the west however people would return to religion once they find the thoughts are baseless.
"The development has started after the Islamic revolution became victorious," Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding that the main motive of west in opposing Islam is the same development. "The western enmity is mainly due to the existence of faith in the country which brings people to the scene and guides the country in dangerous terrains," the IR Leader added.
Ayatollah Khamenei then turned to the recent Palestinian developments and the Zionist regime aggressions in Gaza and West Bank. The IR Leader described the Zionist effort in removing Islamic signs of the Quds and expulsion of Muslims from their homes as a perilous plot which is taking place before the eyes of the world with the Islamic world busy with trivial issues.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the Organization of Islamic Countries, "which is principally established for the Palestinian issue, was expected to fulfill its essential duty in defense of Palestine and mobilize the Islamic world against the Zionists' insidious moves."
Ayatollah Khamenei said the world of Islam enjoyed high capacities in fighting against the Zionist malice and greed, adding that the capacities are more than the issue of oil and that the largest consuming market and vital corridors of the world are held by Muslims. "The reputation of the west is confined to this region," Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the world of Islam can fulfill its rightful demands even without the potentials and only by use of diplomacy and the very will of governments and nations which is a large weight in the world.
