Sayyed Ali Khamenei"
Ayatollah Khamenei then made a speech, calling religious democracy a unique and thought-provoking phenomenon which can cater to the current needs of the human community.
Ayatollah Khamenei reminded the non-presence of people in political fields during the Pahlavi regime and the ironical cooperation of the so-called advocates of human rights with the regime, adding that under the auspicious of the nation's revolution and submission to the divine statute, a single reality was formed called Islamic Republic.
Ayatollah Khamenei called the discussion on which of republic or Islamic must be prioritized as a meaningless topic, adding that the two are two inseparable elements as reliance on public vote lies in the heart of divine statute.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the ups and downs of the past thirty years have proved the efficiency of the Islamic Republic, adding that the electoral process during the past decades signifies a large capacity which most observers outside the association have been unable to understand.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the religious democracy and the intrinsic composition of Islam and republicanism in the association was the key to its endurance and invulnerability, adding that by the favor of God and vigilance of people and authorities, the securing reality will survive.
Ayatollah Khamenei then pointed to some significant lessons of the blessed elections, saying that in the first step, the elections proved how robust the Islamic Republic is in attracting public trust and mobilizing the masses.
Some waited for the system in the early post-revolutionary years to fall from the public attention however the recent elections which broke international electoral records showed that the Islamic System after 30 years even has become more powerful and successful in attracting public trust.
The IR Leader said the second lesson of the elections was the existence of a mutual trust between the system and the public, adding that the open political field for different affiliations shows the trust of the system in itself and the nation.
"The people for their part trusted the system and proved their interest in their elected system. The reality shows that those who speak of a public mistrust are ignorant, unless ill-wisher," the IR Leader said.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the trust of people was the capital of the system and seriously urged all authorities to progressively promote the trust by their word and deed.
Ayatollah Khamenei as a third lesson of the elections pointed to an existence of hope and vivacity in people.
"A hopeless heart never takes the field of elections. The vivacious presence of the youths and other strata shows a social hope in the prospects," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Ayatollah Khamenei then cautioned the people and the authorities to take heed of the warning that the enemy is always lurking and any negligence about its blows proves dangerous even amid best conditions in society.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the claim that enemy tries to produce nerve-wracking issues for people was based on genuine information at hand, adding that if people in society look at each other as enemies and fail to keep thought and prudence, they will suffer blows from real enemies.
The IR Leader then urged the enemies to pick experiences from the recent developments, urging them to realize what a people and system they face and to abandon the thought they could bring the nation to knee through lowly decision.
Ayatollah Khamenei warned the enemies to quit the perceptions that they could deal a blow to the Islamic System through a faulty, cartoon-like imitation of the auspicious 1979 revolution as the system is more deep-rooted than suffering a blow due to such moves.
Ayatollah Khamenei added that by a faulty imitation of Imam Khomeini, the Great, who was imbued with Koranic teachings, no one could deceive people because the nation has its heart illuminant with the light of faith.
Ayatollah Khamenei then said the great Iranian nation has passed the divine test of elections, adding that many of the youths and elites out of responsibility and faith took to the ballot and then bowed to the Constitution during the ensuing electoral process. "They passed the great test."
Ayatollah Khamenei said however that some of the elites failed the test and that some of the youths who had sincerely entered the field, went wrong at some points.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the president-elect was in a test regarding the great blessing of public presence and that the test could be passed by practically cherishing the presence.
"The respected president who has been elected with a high and rare percent of votes as well as his colleagues in the next cabinet are expected to cherish Islam and faith of nation and employ all their efforts to serve the people and the revolutionary goals," he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei then instructed the next administration to strictly follow the Constitution and deal with national affairs based on due planning.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the president and the tenth administration were owned by all those who cast ballots in the June 12 elections, adding that the reality must be heeded in every planning for the country.
The IR Leader said parallel to the large group of advocates of the president, there are also two other groups who must be taken into account; one the angry and wounded opponents who will continue to oppose the administration in the next four years and the other the critics who have no enmity towards the system and the president and must be consulted in all affairs.
Ayatollah Khamenei then said that supports must be delivered to those who have incurred damages to their reputation or financial affairs or otherwise have lost a beloved, adding that anyone behind the damages and losses must be identified and taken to task.
Ayatollah Khamenei concluded his remarks by pointing to ample natural, material and human resources within the dear Iran, saying that there are many problems which must be resolved with continuous efforts of the president and his colleagues as well as the help of elites with different tastes, even the critics of the administration.
