Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed the need for accelerating pace of development in Kordestan province, west of Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks during a meeting with the province's officials including governor and representatives in the parliament Friday night.
The IR Leader further urged officials in charge of the projects to make proper arrangements for the programs to go on smoothly and be completed on the due times.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the natural resources of the province as good grounds for investment and creating job and said these capacities can make the province's import and export sectors more active.
Developing talents of the Kord youths will lead to progress of the province, the IR Leader said adding it is necessary to give support to the province's elites and talented persons.
Appreciating the good security conditions in the province, Ayatollah Khamenei said we should stay vigilant against continued enemy plots and boost the security of Kordestan's province more than before.
