Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei:

Massive Feb march brings loss to enemy

The outstanding headway made by the Iranian nation during the past 30 years following the Islamic Revolution (1979) has been a tribute to their faith in God and a fruit of an untiring scientific drive coupled with national confidence, Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei told a group of Air Force commanders and personnel Saturday.

The Air Force commanders and personnel had convened to renew their military allegiance with the Islamic Revolution Leader on the eighth day of a ten-day national celebration in commemoration of the Islamic Revolution triumph, February 1979.

The ceremony is staged annually to mark a historical allegiance the Iranian Air Force made with the demised founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini on February 8, 1979.

Ayatollah Khamenei described the February 8 allegiance as a lasting reminiscence which came on a lead of sincerity, firm resolve and shrewd understanding of the then political and social developments, adding that the Air Force by the allegiance move demonstrated in true terms that it was closely knit with the nation.

Ayatollah Khamenei then noted that the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran brought changes in three major arenas including the Iranian society, the Islamic Ummah and the global macro-equations.

The IR Leader said the Islamic Revolution could turn the Iranian nation into a tenacious, resourceful and dignified nation which makes choices that readily influence other communities, adding that the reality even was acknowledged by the enemies of the Islamic System of Iran.

"As son as a nation picks resolve and purpose no other power could block its way or restrain it," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

"The world superpowers exhausted every artifice at hand to restore their pre-revolutionary rein over the nation however it thwarted their wish from being realized and in the future too will not cave to their dominance," Ayatollah Khamenei added.

The Islamic Revolution Leader noted that an assortment of sanctions or encumbrances only served as a momentum for building an indigenous satellite called Omid (hope) which Iran sent to the orbit last week or developing the technology of uranium enrichment already monopolized by a few countries in the world.

"These sanctions or blackmails are no more relevant as the Iranian nation has mapped it way and would tread the track of progress with a firm resolve that radiates from a profound faith," Ayatollah Khamenei vowed.

The IR Leader then singled out expansion of Islamic revolutionary idea in the region and the world as another domain of change steered by the Islamic Revolution, adding that the Gaza incident and prior developments in the 33-day Lebanon war where the Zionist regime's army albeit backed by advanced weaponry and US support could not break a besieged but faithful nation points to ever expanding insights of Iran's Islamic Revolution.

In the same note, Ayatollah Khamenei said the Islamic Revolution ushered in a new dichotomy into the global diplomacy namely domineering-docile countries, adding that IRI has been making headways without relinquishing its platform and that the sole track of its eventual accomplishment was to keep faith in God and confidently make extensive efforts in all spiritual and material spheres.

Ayatollah Khamenei then touched on the upcoming February 10 nationwide march in commemoration of the victory of the Islamic Revolution 30 years ago, saying that the massive annual turnout of people even in extreme weathers stood out as an iconic proof to the perseverance of people on their revolutionary aspirations.

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed hope that by God's assistance the people will take to streets in massive numbers on February 10 and produce a turnout which brings a loss to enemy.
