In his remarks to the Navy's commanding team, Ayatollah Khamenei touched on the invaluable expertise the nation has gained in disregard of whatever wishes the bullying powers may have, saying that the Islamic Republic of Iran has turned into a regional powerhouse under the auspices of God's assistance and the nation's wholehearted efforts.
Ayatollah Khamenei marked November 27, the Iranian day of Navy and described the force as highly capable.
The IR Leader said that spirituality and connection with God would enhance human being's capacity to adopt more effective decisions.
The IR Leader said the Army belonged to both Iran and Islam, adding that the revolutionary origin and high capacity of the Navy would be proved when necessary as it was shown in the early months of the Scared Defense (1980-88) against Saddam's invading forces.
