Top citizens from the Yazd province central Iran held a 3-hour panel discussion with the Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei in which they raised and discussed their viewpoints over the country's development affairs.

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed deep pleasure for having the opportunity to sit discussion with a scientific convention and called it sweet.

Ayatollah Khamenei noted that such discussion panels could be viewed both as a working session and as a symbolic one, the former of which aimed to provide an opportunity to appreciate the distinguished figures.

"And concerning the symbolic view, the session hammers home the message that if the Iranian nation wishes to see the country quickly advancing towards the charted targets it must live up to the status of its distinguished personalities," Ayatollah Khamenei noted.

Ayatollah Khamenei observed that top citizens would please God by using their privileges to serve people and society, urging all top citizens to stay course of progress and dignity and defy any difficulties ahead by the assistance of their capacities.

Ayatollah Khamenei recalled that top figures nationwide must assume responsibility in the march of the nation and the country towards the national aspirations.

Ayatollah Khamenei also appreciated the services of Mehdi Azar-Yazdi, a top cultural personality in the Yazd province.
