Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei pointed out Saturday evening that the wronged but robust Iranian nation will hold out under the auspices of remembrance of God and backed by the assets of knowledge, wisdom and resolve.
In a speech to high-ranking Iranian authorities, Ayatollah Khamenei said remembrance of God protects heart and soul of human being against the frenzy of Satan or material motives.
The IR Leader invoked the call of the Holy Koran to oft remembrance of God, adding that the steady remembrance of the Almighty proves a boon for human being in fraught situations of life and that the authorities must take the spiritual exercise more than the Public so that they can handle their heavy undertaking.
In a week named after the eight years of assiduous resistance by the Iranians against the Western-backed imposed war (1980-88), Ayatollah Khamenei called the Sacred Defense period a bright time when spiritual side of the society reached an apex.
"The nice attitude of our combatants and the enthusiasm of our people in supporting the front drew a large, glorious miniature depicting the effects of remembrance of God," Ayatollah Khamenei said, urging for endeavors to keep the spiritual conditions afloat.
The Islamic Revolution Leader called the Islamic Republic a momentous juncture of the Iranian history in that the high-ranking officials are being elected by the will of people.
"For thousands of years, dictators were ruling the country and a handful of persons were deciding on the fate of the whole nation. Nevertheless at present the most unequivocal form of democracy is underway here," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
"The people-elected authorities have struck remarkable works since the triumph of the revolution (1979). They have stood against the global bullying system backed by people," the IR Leader added.
Ayatollah Khamenei laid out the remarkable works of the past 28 years and among others pointe to the thriving mood of the Islamic System in the face of different enemy plots eventuslly challenging the vainglorious arrogant.
Ayatollah Khamenei called on the authorities to realize the significance of their landmark assignment and live up to their job through making untiring efforts and bewaring debilitative points.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted that the enemies were making an enormous effort to fake an incompetent image out of the Islamic System only to see their effort in failure due to the emergence of the growing national confidence in scientific, technological and political fields.
The Islamic Revolution Leader then outlined the points of efficiencies of the System as 'revival of the destructed agriculture sector,' 'expansion of public services,' 'promotion of the intimate pre-revolutionary industry to the current cutting-edge nuclear industry and nanotechnology,' 'establishment of democracy in the best manner,' 'creation of the thriving discourse of restoration of Islamic identity to the Islamic ummah' and finally 'the indisputable position of the Islamic Republic in the region and the world.'
The IR Leader urged the authorities to enhance the efficiency of the System by taking inspiration from the bulwarks of knowledge, wisdom and resolve.
"The Iranian nation resembles the Master of the Faithful Ali (greetings to him) and all the other companions of right in that it is wronged but robust," Ayatollah Khamenei observed, adding that the nation will stay the course under the auspices of remembrance of God and backed by the assets of knowledge, wisdom and resolve until it tears its wronged image.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the enemy aims to intimidate the people and the authorities through incessant threats, affirming however that the Iranian people and authorities will go unfazed with the threats rather they will be enhancing their preparedness in contrast with the enemy expectation.
"However those who threaten the Iranian nation are better off realizing that a hit and run attack against Iran is impossible so that any one who moves to aggress it would have to face its stark repercussions either," Ayatollah Khamenei warned.
The IR Leader said that the relentless enemy intimidation points to the intellectual despair and poverty of Liberal Democracy.
"The Islamic Republic presents intellect, logic and spiritual motivation in the region and the world. The Liberal Democracy resorts to language of intimidation because it has nothing else to offer like an illiterate person who only shows muscles towards a sage man," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Turning to the upcoming eighth parliamentary elections, Ayatollah Khamenei urged all the Iranians to make the elections a further boost for the national sovereignty and dignity while a further frustration for the enemy like in any other set of lections in the past.
Addressing different domestic parties, Ayatollah Khamenei advised: "Treat the elections as a sublime and sweet goal, avoid any defamation, fuss or inconsiderateness and mobilize all your agents to stage an enthusiastic ballot."
In the beginning of the meeting, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a report on the Administration's records in the preceding Iranian year, saying that in the cultural sector, the cabinet had focused on the promotion of the platform of the Islamic Revolution.
