Tajikistan, inseparable part of Iranian culture

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei told a visiting Tajikistan's President Sunday morning that by their broadened mutual relations, the three Persian-speaking countries of Asia could foster their domestic capabilities.

Ayatollah Khamenei underscored profound cultural and historical bonds between the three Persian-speaking nations of Iran and Tajikistan and Afghanistan, adding that the intrinsic abilities of each nation provide the key to its progress and grandeur.

"Those countries which have in common a broad ground of religious, cultural and civilization history can foster their intrinsic strength by show of solidarity to each other," Ayatollah Khamenei urged Imomali Rakhman.

Ayatollah Khamenei described the true religion of Islam as source of unity in hand of Islamic Countries, adding that should Islamic unity takes place, the Islamic umma will be introduced to an immense capability inside to realize progress and development and promote their global status.

The IR Leader hailed ample grounds at hand to expand Iran-Tajikistan relations. "Tajikistan is an inseparable part of the Iranian culture and as a principle policy the Islamic Republic of Iran seeks to promote relations with the friend and brotherly nation of Tajikistan," Ayatollah Khamenei affirmed.

Tajikistan's President for his part applauded a progressive, burgeoning I.R. of Iran as source of pride for all the Islamic nations.

"Enemies of Islam and the Islamic Republic are not willing to see the expanding levels of ties between Iran and the regional countries or the world of Islam, nevertheless, Iran's unity-inspiring policies besides its progress has become source of pride and opportunities for the region and the whole world of Islam," Rakhman said.

The visiting president expressed gratitude and pleasure for the widened investment by the Iranian nationals in his country, saying that should the treble Persian speakers connect via railway, huge resources will flow to Central Asia and even China through access to Persian Gulf and further ahead to high seas.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was also attending the meeting.
