Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei told the Iranian organizers of this year's Hajj ceremony Wednesday that the Hajj must become a perfect reflection of Muslim unity and promote it further.
"At time when the world arrogance expresses its rancor against the Muslim people in different vehicles, even through violent and callous ones, disavowing of the pagans and declaring the position of Muslims towards the conduct is of prime in the Hajj ceremony," Ayatollah Khamenei underlined.
The IR Leader highlighted the large potentials of the Hajj notably the convergence of Muslims from various nationalities in a definite time and place and its prospective individual, social and international effects.
"The Hajj is the best opportunity for Muslims to make closer contacts. However, enemies are trying to change it into a ground to fan Muslims differences and push Shiites and Sunnis to confrontation," Ayatollah Khamenei warned.
Ayatollah Khamenei cautioned that certain agents of the modern global colonialism are commissioned to raise or stir contentious matters during the ceremony, adding, the Iranian pilgrims either Shiite or Sunni must beware the perilous trap. "We recommend the Saudi government to block the activities of the provokers," Ayatollah Khamenei urged.
Concerning the rituals of Disavowal of Pagans, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "In so far as the enemies consider Islam as the leading hurdle to their dominance over the Islamic countries, taking hold of their interests and disseminating their culture and treat Muslim people through arrogance- and Zionist-incited ways, the Muslims are rightful to voice their stance towards the conduct," Ayatollah Khamenei affirmed, adding, the best place and time for the undertaking is the large rendezvous of the Islamic Ummah in the Hajj.

"The growth of interests in Islam and the expansion of Islamic awakening is the follow-up of the Islamic evolution in Iran. Some held the revolutionary slogans have lost their luster, but now the slogans and values of the Islamic Revolution are now lustrous more than ever and the flame might not die out in the course of time," Ayatollah Khamenei affirmed.
