Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei Wednesday told an audience of judicial officials and surviving families of the June 1982 terrorist bombing that the world hegemony's opposition to the Islamic Republic of Iran stems from the independence and perseverance of the Iranian nation against their excessive expectations.
Ayatollah Khamenei asserted that the assassination of the then prosecutor general Ayatollah Beheshti and scores of statesmen in 1982 and other military, political and economic pressures since 27 years ago have been aimed to deal blows to the pillars of the Islamic System.
"In this sensitive situation, all people from all walks of life as well as authorities within the three branches of government must move vigilantly and prudently to further consolidate the pillars of the system, keep unity and solidarity and feel obliged to cater to the needs and demands," the IR Leader urged.
Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to the strategic position of Iran in the sensitive Middle East region in terms of political and economic issues and the challenges facing the global hegemony by the Islamic Republic System, adding that the I.R.of Iran is the sole country whose authorities, nation and elite have stood up to the bullying of the hegemony in an integrated manner and in every possibility, therefore the opposition of arrogant powers to the Islamic system is not common.
Ayatollah Khamenei considered the country's 70 million population and the sincere sentiments of the world of Islam as the boost of the Islamic system, adding that many countries hold no grudge against the Islamic Republic and most of them admire the independent position of the Iranian nation, either overtly or covertly.
"The main enmity comes from those countries which keep arrogant whims," the IR Leader added.
Ayatollah Khamenei considered the responsibility of the nation and authorities at this historic juncture as fateful, adding that the current situation may never happen again even in centuries for other nations and that the correct and vigilant performance of people and authorities will affect the hundreds of years to come.
Ayatollah Khamenei appraised the ongoing status of Iran and the Islamic system as more improved than in the past 27 years, adding though having exhausted many possibilities there are ample capacities to take on.
Ayatollah Khamenei urged reducing weak points and promoting positive ones though multiple efforts, adding that the Iranian nation and authorities have proved they are capable to do the job.
Moreover, the IR Leader called Ayatollah Beheshti the definite architect of the Islamic Republic judicial apparatus, adding the Judiciary must become a source of guarantees for all people and a beacon of hope and incarnate of justice for the innocent.
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the idea that people must view the judicial body as a just, fair, perspicacious and alert reference, adding the main responsibility of the Judiciary is to campaign against crimes and offences and resolutely administer justice.
Ayatollah Khamenei reminded that the Judiciary is not able to tackle all national affairs by itself, adding, however, that if all the judicial bodies duly fulfill their duties, other bodies will have to move in the right path and combat against corrupts.
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed resolute campaign against administrative offences within the judicial bodies, even in their smallest hints.
