This morning, in a meeting with state officials, ambassadors of Islamic countries, and various groups from across the population, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated that the growing dignity of Islam and the struggle against the coercion and extortion of major powers depend on the unity and insight of the Islamic Ummah. Emphasising the Islamic Republic's extended hand of brotherhood toward all Muslim governments, he said, "The path to effectively confront the unprecedented crimes of the Zionist regime and its supporters in Palestine and Lebanon lies in the unity, solidarity, and common voice of Islamic nations."
In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei extended his congratulations to the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian nation on the blessed and joyous Eid al-Fitr. He described this occasion as one of the points of connection uniting the Islamic world and one that fosters the ever-increasing dignity of Islam and its noble Messenger. He stated,
"Achieving the ever-increasing dignity of Islam requires the unity, determination, and vigilance of the Islamic Ummah."
Referring to the rapid and successive global developments taking place, he said, "In the face of these rapidly evolving events, Islamic governments must swiftly and precisely define their stance and devise thoughtful strategies to address them."
The Leader of the Revolution highlighted the large Muslim population, abundant natural resources, and strategic geographic location as key advantages of the Islamic world. He said, "To capitalise on these opportunities and critical locations, unity within the Islamic world is essential—though not in the sense of governments merging or adopting identical political views. Rather, it means recognising shared interests and defining their own national interests in a way that avoids discord, conflict, and infighting among Muslim nations."
He emphasised that the Islamic world is one family, and Muslim governments must think and act with this perspective in mind. He added, "The Islamic Republic extends its hand of brotherhood to all Islamic governments, considering itself their sibling and part of a united and indispensable front."
Ayatollah Khamenei considered cooperation and mutual consultation among Islamic governments as a barrier against the aggression, coercion, and extortion of oppressive powers. He said, "Today, unfortunately, extortion and coercion against weak nations and governments have become the explicit and routine practice of major powers. In the face of this, we, the Islamic countries, must defend the rights of the Muslim world and not allow America or any other power to impose its demands through extortion."
Referring to the wounds inflicted upon Palestine and Lebanon by the crimes of the Zionist regime and its supporters and stressing the need for the Islamic world to stand firm against these sufferings, he added, "Through the unity, solidarity, and shared resolve of Islamic governments, others will reconsider their actions. We hope that the leaders of Islamic countries, through their resolve, motivation, and initiative, can truly unite the Islamic Ummah in its fullest sense."
At the beginning of this meeting, Dr Pezeshkian, the President, stated that "dignity, pride, unity, forgiveness, brotherhood, and supporting the oppressed" are among the most important lessons of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims. Addressing the ambassadors of Islamic countries, he described the duty of the Islamic world today as setting aside differences and forming a united front against the Zionist regime and the enemies of Islam. He emphasised, "The Islamic Republic extends its hand of friendship and brotherhood to all Islamic countries."
In another part of his remarks, Dr Pezeshkian referred to the year's slogan and said, "The government will make every effort to realise 'Investment for Production' in the current year."
The President also addressed the enemy's propaganda and psychological warfare aimed at portraying the Islamic Republic as weakened, and asserted, "Muslim nations, because they rely upon God, will never be weak."
