At the beginning of the meeting, Mr Mohammad Ismail Darwish, head of the Hamas Leadership Council, extended his congratulations on the great victory of the Resistance in Gaza and addressed the Leader of the Revolution, saying, “We consider the coincidence of the victory of the Resistance of Gaza with the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution a good sign and the hope that this alignment paves the way to the liberation of Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Khalil al-Hayya, Deputy Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, also extended his congratulations on the victory of the Gaza resistance and addressed the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, saying, "Today, we come to meet you with pride, as we all stand victorious. Ayatollah Khamenei honoured the memory of Gaza's martyrs and fallen commanders, especially Martyr Ismail Haniyeh and addressed the Hamas leaders, saying, "The Almighty God has granted you and the people of Gaza honour and victory, making Gaza a manifestation of the noble verse: 'How often has a small group overcome a mighty host by the permission of Allah.'"
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said, "You have overcome the Zionist regime and, in reality, the United States. And, by God's grace, you did not allow them to achieve their objectives."
Ayatollah Khamenei spoke about the suffering endured by the people of Gaza during a year and a half of resistance. He said, "The outcome of all these hardships and sacrifices was, ultimately, the triumph of truth over falsehood. The people of Gaza have become a model for all those devoted to the path of resistance."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution praised the Hamas negotiators and described the achievement of the recent agreement as significant. He said, "Today, it is the duty of the entire Islamic world and all the supporters of the Resistance to assist the people of Gaza in alleviating their suffering."
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the necessity of planning for cultural initiatives and continuing the current course of media efforts alongside military operations and the reconstruction of Gaza. He added, "The Resistance forces and Hamas performed exceptionally well in media and propaganda efforts, and this approach must continue."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described belief as the primary factor and the asymmetric weapon of the Resistance Front against the enemy. He said, "It is through this belief that the Islamic Republic and the Resistance Front do not feel weakness in the face of their enemies."
Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the recent U.S. threats against the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people, saying, "Such threats do not affect the mindset of our nation, officials, activists, or youth."
He said, "The issue of defending Palestine and supporting the Palestinian people is unquestionable in the minds of the Iranian people. This matter is settled," adding, "For us, Palestine is a central issue, and its victory is a certainty."
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasised that, in the end, the ultimate victory will belong to the Palestinian people. He noted, "Events and fluctuations should not cause doubt. One must move forward with belief and hope, trusting in divine assistance instead."
