This morning, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with top teachers, reciters, and memorisers who were participating in the 41st International Quran Competition, along with various groups of people. He called the Quran the eternal miracle of the Noble Prophet of Islam and said, "True reliance on God makes even the impossible possible."
Sending his felicitations on the anniversary of the birth of Aba Abdillah al-Hussain (a.s.), Ayatollah Khamenei regarded the continuation of the Quranic and Prophetic miracle as a great blessing for humanity and all existence. He stated, "When approaching and reciting the Quran, one must be fully aware that we are encountering the miracle of the Seal of the Prophets."
He described the Quran, its wording, structure, meanings, expression of divine traditions, and everything about it as a miracle. He said, "If this great miracle is truly utilised, all human problems will be resolved, and societies will find order."
Noting how the saints, scholars, and great figures resorted to the profound knowledge of the Quran, the Leader of the Revolution said, "Even a superficial understanding of its expressions and evident lessons serve as a guiding light for all people."
Explaining the Quranic concept of tawakkul (reliance on God), Ayatollah Khamenei said, "As the Holy Quran declares, 'Whoever puts their trust in God, He is sufficient for them.' Therefore, if the conditions of tawakkul are fulfilled, this divine promise will surely be realised."
He described trust and certainty in God's true promises as the mental prerequisite for tawakkul. He added, "One must have absolute certainty, without any doubt, that by God's permission, even the impossible can become possible."
The Leader of the Revolution cited the victory of the people of Gaza over the Zionist regime and the U.S. as an example of the realisation of the impossible, stating, "Had it been said that the people of this small area of Gaza would fight a great power like the U.S. and prevail, no one would have believed it, but God's permission fulfilled this seemingly impossible event."
Ayatollah Khamenei identified being engaged in action as the second condition for fulfilling the verse, 'Whoever puts their trust in God, He is sufficient for them.' He said, "In every matter, God has assigned a portion of responsibility to human beings. If these duties are carried out alongside mental certainty in God's promises, then without doubt, anything, even what seems impossible, will become possible."
He said that the confrontation of global arrogance is not only with the Iranian nation but also with many nations worldwide. He said, "The difference is that the Iranian nation dares to openly declare this reality, that America is aggressive, deceitful, treacherous, and colonialist, and does not adhere to any human principles. Therefore, it chants 'Down with America,' while others lack the courage to voice these truths, to stand against America, and to play their part in the fight against arrogance. Hence, they achieve no results."
Emphasising the necessity of patience and struggle to achieve results, the Leader of the Revolution described the Iranian nation's 46 years of perseverance against the alignment of all the arrogant global powers as the driving force behind the country's comprehensive growth. He added, "The Iranian nation not only remained unscathed in this confrontation but also advanced and progressed in all fields."
He considered the training of thousands of young Quran reciters and memorisers across the country as an example of the nation's spiritual progress. He said, "The country has also advanced materially, with numerous great achievements that its youth have accomplished. With reliance on God, these advancements will continue until the nation reaches its ultimate and desired apogee."
