Leader Meets Families of Security Martyrs, Highlights Zionist Regime's Brutality:

ZIONIST REGIME MISCALCULATED, IRAN'S POWER MUST BE MADE CLEAR TO THEM

In a meeting this morning with thousands of honourable families of the Security Martyrs, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution described these martyrs as among the most distinguished in the path of righteousness. He emphasised the foundational importance of security in all aspects of society and various dimensions of people's lives. He said, “Only a strong Iran can ensure and guarantee the security and progress of the country and its people. Therefore, Iran must become stronger every day in all dimensions: economically, scientifically, politically, in defence, and also in management.”

Referring to the regime's continuous actions in committing the most brutal war crimes in Gaza and Lebanon, Ayatollah Khamenei also called for the formation of a "global coalition" against the wicked Zionist regime, noting the malicious actions of the Zionist regime two nights ago. He said, “Concerning this mistake they made, they are exaggerating  for specific purposes; however, downplaying it and claiming it was nothing and of no significance is also erroneous.”

The Leader of the Revolution emphasised that it was inevitable that the Zionist regime's flawed calculations regarding Iran would unravel. He said, “They miscalculated  Iran because they do not know Iran, its youth and its people. They still have not understood the Iranian nation's power, capability, ingenuity, and determination, and this is something we must make them understand.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said, "Of course, our officials should correctly assess work quality and do what is in the best interest of this country and its people so that they understand who the Iranian nation is and what its youth are like.”

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the mindset, motivation, readiness, and bravery of the nation of Iran must be preserved, as these are the elements necessary for the foundation of security.

In the meeting with the families of the Security Martyrs, he mentioned the rights that the martyrs and their families have over the nation are beyond words. He said, “ Security is the underpinning of all the ways and means towards advancing the country and the nation. The value of the brave defenders of security and its proud martyrs should be understood from the significance and unparalleled value of security represented in the 'Law Enforcement Force, Basij, IRGC, Army, and intelligence agencies.”

The Leader of the Revolution referred to the Holy Quran and pointed out that security was a great divine blessing. Citing the vast range of activities of the defenders of the country's security and society, he said, “Wherever there is no security and its invaluable protectors, evils will arise.”

Ayatollah Khamenei included evil, whether on the borders or in cities, as banditry, theft, arms smuggling, drug trafficking, and spreading rumours, are all examples of activities that create insecurity. He said, “Anyone who stands against any form of evil will earn the honourable title of 'Guardian of Security.”

Explaining the essential and fundamental element for establishing and maintaining security, the Leader of the Revolution said, “Some people, with a strange analysis and perception, think that refraining from developing tools such as missiles, that might provoke the arrogance of tyrants could bring security to Iran. However, this mistaken idea only tells the nation and officials to keep the country weak to remain secure."

Ayatollah Khamenei described national strength as the only way for Iran to be secure, adding, “To safeguard the country and society and advancement Iran, we must be strong in all aspects—economic, scientific, defensive, political, managerial, and other dimensions—and become stronger every day.”

He attributed the tragedy of Iran's occupation, despite the country's declaration of neutrality during the First and Second World Wars,  to the poor policies of incompetent, treacherous, and dependent rulers. He said, “By turning away from genuine instruments of power, they led the nation and country to the humiliation of weakness and the inability to secure their own safety.”

The Leader of the Revolution explained an important point about security by citing the necessity of the psychological security of the people. He said, “Those who, through certain content, rumours, or by making incorrect analyses and interpretations in cyberspace, cause anxiety, fear, and doubt among the people are referred to in Quranic terms as 'mujrifun' (spreaders of unrest). God instructs the Prophet to punish them if they do not refrain from this behaviour.”

Ayatollah Khamenei described such individuals as being influenced by incorrect analyses or driven by malice to engage with people in cyberspace. He said, “Not everything that comes to mind should be published on social media; instead, one should consider its impact on the morale, emotions, and thinking of the people.”

He spoke repeatedly of cyberspace activities in recent weeks and days, saying, “Those who seek to make policies or decisions about cyberspace should be mindful of how a fake news item or piece of information can instil fear and doubt in people.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said that the country's officials have important responsibilities regarding the security of borders, streets, and people's lives, and they are also entirely responsible for maintaining the people's psychological security.

Speaking about the misuse of soft war tools by the adversaries of countries and nations alongside a hard war, the Leader of the Revolution said, “Creating insecurity in the psychological space of society is one component of this soft war, and everyone has seen how they use cyberspace to advance their goals.”

At the end of this part of his speech, he addressed the families of the Security Martyrs. He said, “Be proud and honour your martyrs, for if they and other defenders of security had not been there, many problems would have arisen for the country and the nation. Therefore, everyone should also be grateful to these martyrs and their families.”

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei spoke about the horrific crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, including the martyrdom of tens of thousands of children and over ten thousand women, examples of the most brutal of war crimes. He strongly criticised the utter negligence of governments and global organisations such as the United Nations in confronting the actions of this regime in Gaza and Lebanon. He said, “War has rules, laws, and boundaries; not all limits should be violated in wars. However, the criminal gang ruling over the occupied territories has trampled underfoot all boundaries and rules .”

Ayatollah Khamenei deemed it essential for governments, especially Islamic governments, to stand firm against the criminal regime and to form a global coalition against it. He said, “Standing firm does not mean just cutting off economic aid, as it is evident that assisting the usurping regime is among the most reprehensible and gravest sins. Indeed, standing firm means forming a global political, economic, and, if necessary, military coalition against the wicked regime that commits the most brutal war crimes.”
