In a message to Muslim nations and the courageous youth of the region, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, praised the heroic fighter, Commander Yahya Al-Sinwar. He said, "Just as the Resistance Front did not halt its advance with the martyrdom of its prominent figures before, it will not take the slightest pause with the martyrdom of Sinwar either by God's will. Hamas is alive and will remain alive."
The text of the Leader's message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O Muslim nations!
O Brave youth of the region!
The heroic fighter, Commander Yahya Al-Sinwar, has joined his fallen comrades.
He was a shining figure of resistance and struggle. With unwavering determination, he stood firm against the oppressive and aggressive enemy, striking back with wisdom and courage. With the lasting blow of October 7, he left an indelible mark on the history of this region, and then, with dignity and pride, he ascended to the realm of martyrs.
Someone like him, who has spent his life fighting against the oppressive and usurping enemy, deserves no end other than martyrdom. His loss is indeed painful for the Resistance Front. Still, this front did not falter with the martyrdom of prominent figures like Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, Fathi Shaqaqi, Rantisi, and Ismail Haniyeh, and it will not experience the slightest pause with the martyrdom of Sinwar, God willing. Hamas is alive and will remain alive.
As always, with God's grace and assistance, we will continue to stand with the devoted fighters and warriors.
I extend my congratulations on the martyrdom of our brother Yahya al-Sinwar to his family, his comrades, and all those devoted to jihad in the path of God, and I offer my condolences for his loss.
And peace be upon the righteous servants of God.
