On Sacred Defence Week and the Gathering of the Tulips Day, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, said that honouring the memory of the exalted martyrs ensures that the nation's path remains healthy and prevents deviation from the direction of the Revolution.

The text of the message, read by Hojatoleslam Mousavi Moqaddam, the Representative of the Leader in the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Behesht Zahra, Tehran, during the ceremony of dusting, perfuming, and showering flowers on the martyrs' graves across the country, known as 'Gathering of the Tulips,' is as follows:

Sacred Defence Week is a valuable opportunity to illuminate the country's atmosphere with the memory of the noble martyrs. This cherished memory ensures the health of the nation's path and prevents deviation from the Revolution's direction; thus, its worth must be recognised and appreciated.

Negligence and life's daily distractions accompany us. We must not let these natural occurrences distance us from that source of illumination and purity.
