Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued an important message regarding the recent events in Lebanon.
The text of the Leader's message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The massacre of the defenceless people of Lebanon has, on the one hand, once again revealed to everyone the savage nature of the rabid Zionist dog and, on the other hand, proven the short-sightedness and foolish policies of the leaders of the usurping regime. The terrorist gang ruling the Zionist regime did not learn from their year-long criminal war in Gaza. It failed to realise that the mass killing of women, children, and civilians could not weaken the robust structure of the resistance organisation or bring it down. Now, they are testing the same foolish policy in Lebanon. The Zionist criminals should know that they are far too insignificant to inflict any serious damage on the solid structure of Hezbollah in Lebanon. All the resistance forces in the region stand alongside Hezbollah and support it. The resistance forces will determine this region's fate, with the noble Hezbollah at the forefront. The people of Lebanon have not forgotten the days when the soldiers of the usurping regime used to trample the entire way to Beirut under their boots. It was Hezbollah that cut off their advance and gave Lebanon pride and dignity. Today, just like before, by God's grace and power, Lebanon will make this malicious and disgraced enemy regret its aggression. It is obligatory for all Muslims to stand alongside the people of Lebanon and the noble Hezbollah with their resources and to assist them in their confrontation with this usurping, oppressive, and evil regime.
