This morning (Tuesday), Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Mr Ismail Haniyeh, the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, and Ziad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of Palestinian Islamic Jihad. He praised the remarkable resilience and resistance of the oppressed people of Gaza and said, "Today, the highest flag of Islam is in the hands of the Palestinian nation and the people of Gaza. Thanks to this resistance, the conditions for the further spread of Islam have been established."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution noted that one of the constant concerns of Islamic thinkers has been how to promote Islam and present a model of an Islamic society. He added, "The growing inclination towards Islam at this time reflects the greatness of the Palestinian nation and the steadfastness of the people of Gaza's."

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasised, "The primary source of the greatness and splendour of the resistance is the people of Gaza and the residents of the West Bank. We hope that the Palestinian nation and resistance forces will receive divine support, assistance, and blessings."

In the meeting Mr Haniyeh congratulated the election of Iran's new president, describing the recent election as a manifestation of democracy based on Islamic thought. Referring to his meeting with Mr Pezeshkian, he said, "In the meeting we once again witnessed the strong and firm stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the issue of Palestine and the resistance movement, and we felt proud of these positions."

Detailing the latest field and political situation in Gaza and the West Bank, the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas said, "Yesterday marked the 300th day of the Gaza conflict, and we have now reached a critical and historic stage where the Palestinian people and the resistance forces must solidify their heroism and victory."

In the meeting, Mr Ziad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, congratulated the election of Mr Pezeshkian as the new president and praised his supportive stance on Palestine and the resistance. He said, "The joint presence of the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad in today's meeting is a symbolic sign of the unity of the resistance forces in Palestine. Thanks to this unity, coordination and cooperation among the resistance front in the region are also at their best."
