Following the letter of the Minister of Health and Medical Education to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the fifth alarming corona wave and proposal of a two-week closure to reduce both the spread of the virus and hospitals workload, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution asked the President to investigate this issue in the Corona national committee and take any action necessary.
The letter of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution addressed to the President Mr Rouhani reads: Following the Minister of Health and Medical Education's warning and the recommendation of closure due to the pandemic; it is demanded to be raised and investigated at the National Corona committee, and all necessary actions should be taken.
In his letter to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution yesterday, Dr Namaki, after enumerating the causes and grounds for the spread of the disease and the heavy pressure on the medical staff, considered it necessary to bring all the country's facilities to a severe confrontation with this phenomenon and wrote:
"Maybe two weeks of severe closure and resistance and the use of military and law enforcement forces and dealing with breaking protocols can significantly reduce the outbreak of the virus and the workload of hospitals, and the breathtaking pressure on our colleagues."
A copy of the order of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has also been sent to the President-elect.
