Q: Is the new "breathable" nail varnish considered as an obstacle for wuḍū’ and ghusl?

A: Wuḍū’ and ghusl are not valid unless the whole surface of nails is washed. In wuḍū’, one should rub – at least – from the tip of one toe to the ankle joint and on the toe there should not be any obstacle which prevent rubbing it.
