In a meeting with the commander of Iran’s Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, and a number of Ground Forces commanders, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei hailed the efficiency and valuable experience of veteran Army personnel and expressed optimism about the resplendent future of young Army staff members. The commander-in-chief of the Iranian Armed Forces stressed the need for continuous progress and boosting the power of the Army, reiterating, “The advances must continue, so that tomorrow’s Army is better, stronger, more efficient and revolutionary than today’s Army.”
In the meeting, which was held on the occasion of Army and Ground Forces Day, the Leader, addressing the Army’s youth, reiterated, “I ask you beloved youth to apply all of your innovations, efforts and human capacities to advance and promote the Army.”
The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces also commended the revolutionary and unifying stances of Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, adding, “While [retaining] his organizational attachment and emotional commitment to the Army, which is necessary to preserve and highlight, Major General Mousavi made some good remarks about the unity of the Armed Forces and these comments are a sign of management wisdom and inner virtue and make the Army more valuable in the eyes of the people more than ever.”
