The following is the full text of the message issued on November 5, 2013 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on the demise of Habibollah Asgar-Oladi (may God bestow paradise on him).
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I received the news of the demise of Mr. Hajj Habibollah Asgar-Oladi- sincere mujahid and the loyal and trustworthy companion of our late Imam- with great sadness and regret.
Supreme Leader's Condolence Message on Demise of Habibollah Asgar-OladiThis tireless warrior spent his entire blessed life rendering services to Islam and working towards the formation and establishment of Islamic government. From the time of his youth until the last years of his life, his great efforts and pure jihad did not lose strength on this path.
During the time of taghut and from the first days of the revolutionary activities of our people and the clergy, he was present - alongside our magnanimous Imam - in dangerous fronts. He patiently endured the pain of years of imprisonment.
After the victory of the Revolution and the formation of the Islamic Republic, he rendered genuine services in sensitive and significant arenas and he did not stop making efforts until the end of his eventful life.
I ask God to bestow His mercy and blessings on him and I express my condolences to his family and friends.
