Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met Tuesday afternoon with commanders and personnel of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Navy. Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence referred to the noble goals and numerous achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran and reiterated: "If we take a look at regional and global matters, we clearly see that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the upper hand in these developments."

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that one of the reasons behind recent hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran is the achievements that have been made by Iran. He added: "Compared to the Middle East policies of the west, the Middle East policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran are close to reaching the specified goals."

Ayatollah Khamenei added that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully capable of achieving its goals and stressed: "Achieving progress and overcoming obstacles will be possible in the shade of God's grace, firm determination, dynamism and motivation."

Elsewhere in his statements, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the coastal regions of the Islamic Republic of Iran - especially the coastal areas bordering the Sea of Oman and the Makran coast - as a great national asset and added: "If executive and other officials try to adopt a strategic view on the issues concerning coastal regions, this vast and important region can provide the Islamic Republic of Iran with great opportunities."
