Interfering powers involved in Zahedan bombing

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei released a condolence message to denounce the Thursday terror attack in Zahedan, urging people to be cautious about enemy divisive plots.

The Leader said that though the perpetrators might have committed the deadly sin out of negligence and fanaticism, no doubt some interfering powers and their spying services are also involved in the bombing.

Ayatollah Khamenei urged the public to remain united and defy enemy plots.

The IR Leader said the terrorist attack was designed to light the fire of ethnic and sectarian strife in order to destabilize the country.

Ayatollah Khamenei urged Sunni leaders to take a united stand against those who orchestrate such attacks under the pretext of defending the Sunni minority in Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei added the Shii Alims are expected to inform the public of enemy intentions and avoid any non-measured reaction.

"The bombing masterminds should be brought to justice," said the IR Leader, adding that the enemy has long strived to drive a wedge between Muslim denominations in the region to advance its political agenda.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the government's efforts and people's awareness alone would help prevent such crimes from happening.
